Fresh off their 2 year reunion tour, Pulp have released the track “After You” for their fans on Christmas. “After You” would be the bands first recording in over 10 years. It gets better though, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem worked with the band on finishing the track adding some more depth and instrumentation the final cut. You can check out “After You” below.
DOOM (formerly known as MF Doom) has resurfaced this week with a new track called “Doomsayer,” which may or may not be part of a new album in the future. The track comes as part of a collab with producer/dj, Young Guru. Stay tuned for more developments, but listen to the track below.
While there are plenty of people who rather carry their tunes in their pocket, some would rather play them on a good old vinyl record. This is where Amanda Ghassaei comes in. Amanda merges digital files into a vinyl type record format. Amanda documents how she went about creating the 3D records and posted a video outlining the audio playback. While not up to audiophile standards, the records are able to play on any record player. 3D printers aren’t cheap, but this could be a sneak peek into the future of how people use music. You can learn how Amanda created the records here.

In an interview with Paul:
