Hear What “Smells Like Teen Spirit” Sounds like in a Major Key

Imagine if Nirvana’s biggest hit, “Smells Like Teen Spirt”, was written in a major key

One of the newest musical viral sensations is Nirvana’s hit single “Smells Like Teen Spirit”- nothing out of the ordinary. Except, when you note that the song has been retitled to “Teen Sprite” and as the track starts playing, it sounds like a pop rock song.

This hilarious re-tuned version of the classic grunge rock song by legendary band Nirvana is exactly what “Smells Like Teen Spirit” would sound like if it was written in a major key.  If this song was released in the major key it’s been transposed to in this video, there is no telling if the song would still have made the same impact.
