Mick Jagger Sings With Arcade Fire and Foo Fighters On SNL

In case you missed it, last Saturday’s episode of SNL was one for the rock ‘n’ roll history books where host Mick Jagger teamed up with Arcade Fire and the Foo Fighters for two rousing performances of Rolling Stones’ songs.

Arcade Fire added their unique instrumentation to a rendition of “The Last Time,” and the Foo Fighters injected their explosive energy into a medley of “19th and Nervous Breakdown” and “It’s Only Rock ‘n’ Roll (But I Like It).” These two rare, rock pairings are unlikely to ever happen again. Fortunately, if you missed it, you can catch it on HULU. Check out the videos below.

Gotye Performs on Saturday Night Live and Stars in Sketch

Gotye was the musical performer this past weekend on Saturday Night Live. The Belgian-Australian singer-songwriter also starred as himself in an amusing, yet very creepy, sketch with SNL actors Andy Sandberg and Taran Killam, who obsessively stalk Gotye in his dressing room while reenacting his highly popular video for “Somebody That I Used to Know.” “We intentionally didn’t paint this part…we wanted you to see.” Poor Gotye may never be able to unsee those “parts.” The musician also performed “Somebody That I Used to Know” along with “Eyes Wide Open” on the show. See the videos below.
