Watch Dovetail Rock The Sundance Film Festival!
Dovetail recently took over Utah’s annual Sundance Film Festival with a slew of performances! The whole gang went along for the week-long trip – even the newest member of the family, frontman Philip’s song, little Cosmo Creamer! In between skiing, jamming, and sightseeing, the band rocked the house of Park City TV, which featured a set of four songs on their program. You can check out the first of the four tracks, “Julie,” below, and “like” Ok! Good Records’ Facebook page to take a look at more of Dovetail’s adventures here!
“Julie” Lyrics:
“I want to meet you where the river overflows your thoughts and dreams
Take me to the fountain, behind the veil
Where the light would shine
In the cold remember
There was a peace
That came at night
When I was your candle, Julie
I was your light
I was your candle, Julie
You knew how to light me up
Burning at both ends for you Julie
I wasn’t bright enough
Ah, give me a break!
I’m just a puddle on the ground
And i’m the fake who feels no pain
When you walk right through me
There was a peace
That came at night
When I was your candle, Julie
I was your alright
When I was your light
I was your candle, Julie
You knew how to light me up
Burning at both ends for you Julie
I wasn’t bright enough
You burned me out
and left me far away
But you still burn me out today
(You burned him out
and left him far away)
But you still burn me out today
I was your candle, Julie
You knew how to light me up
Burning at both ends for you Julie
I wasn’t bright enough…”
