WIN A Limited Edition Copy Of A Genuine Freakshow’s “Oftentimes”

We got some limited edition copies of A Genuine Freakshow’s Oftentimes album, and we are happy to be able to be able to give a copy away to one lucky fan. The limited edition copy of Oftentimes contains a bonus disc entitled “Pastimes” that has exclusive remixes and extra tracks not included on the regular edition of Oftentimes. The whole album is also encased in a nice hard cover box. A perfect collector’s item! These are super limited and we don’t have many copies left, so you know it’s something really special.

All you got to do to enter is name a favorite “Pastime” of yours in the comment section. It could be anything: going to the beach, walks in the park, skateboarding, anything!

On June 28th we will pick ONE lucky winner at random. We will contact the winner via e-mail and notify you the same day. Good luck, everyone!

Oftentimes can also be streamed stream right now on our website.

Besides spending time with my family, it has to be listening to good music. For example listening to the full stream of new Sigur Rós album “Kveikur” (see http://kveikur.sigur-ros.co.uk/.

Twitching! Sling the binoculars over the shoulder, grab the guide from the dresser and head to the woodlands! Ideal spot: Bullfinch or Green woodpecker. Boom x

Favourite pastime, without a doubt, is non-sinister, all-embracing Bandstalking

I like to spend hours picking fluff from my navel. I love the tingly mix of introverted sensations and emotions that it gives me culminating in a heightened sense of self awareness and inner excitement.

My favourite pastime is listening to very good music (obviously) and looking at clouds… but not the ones that cover the entire sky.

I like eating pain au chocolat in bed on a Sunday morning with my little family. Ideally this will involve me getting kicked in the nuts or pistol whipped with a Nerf gun at some point. Deep joy.

Favourite pastime is spending every free minute I have with my best friend, my son Caleb. Only 15 months but already a big fan. I’ve even taken him to see the real Luckmore Drive.

If doing nothing at all doesn’t count, I’d say playing beach volleyball. Hope that wasn’t too late to enter…

My favourite past-time is watching TV or a film, getting ridiculously overly emotional and then writing music because I’m so emotional I’m either hyper or a complete blubbering wreck. I say favourite past-time but this isn’t something I consciously sit down to do, it just happens. It doesn’t help that the sad parts of TV shows make me cry easily so I usually write depressing stuff, either lonely love songs or piano songs. Plus I have an unhealthy obsession with C minor, which in my opinion is the most beautiful key in the world. With B-flat minor a close second!

If anybody would like to join me in my kinda strange and endearingly (I hope) different hobby, then watch broadchurch, start to finish, making sure you have fifty boxes of tissues and a keyboard handy for the last episode. You will cry so much your tear ducts turn to dust!

My favourite pastime is going to see Live Music, there’s absolutely nothing like it. A great band at a great venue with good people around me.
