Donots At The Saint in Asbury Park, NJ (Review And Photos)

This past Saturday I had the opportunity to spend some time with German rock/punk band, the “Donots” prior to and after their show at The Saint in Asbury Park, New Jersey. After heading down to the boardwalk to shoot some portraits, I followed them back to the venue and shot some photos of their live set as well. I was a bit nervous about the shooting conditions, having never shot at the venue before, but I actually found the lighting to be up to par (if not better) than most club venues I’ve shot at.
Needless to say, Donots absolutely killed it. It’s rare I leave a show in absolute awe, but their live performance is probably one of the best I’ve seen live to this day. Unfortunately the band doesn’t tour much in the US these days, but I definitely, without a doubt, recommend catching them next time they’re in town.
