Music website, Fresh On The Net did a really nice interview with Paper Aeroplanes this past weekend. In a segment on the website called “Prick And Ding” the band was asked many questions including: artist inspiration, best musical experiences, hair wishlists, and more. 1. What are you up to at the moment?

Touring, touring, touring. Eating bad, high fat food.

2. Favourite childhood memory?

Doing a living show for my friend parents, performing numbers such as The Bartman and our dance routine to Rick Astley’s Never Gonna Give you Up.

3. Hero?
Dangermouse (the animal not the producer)

4. Villain?

DeadMau5 (the producer not the animal)

5. What/who makes you laugh?
Daniel Kitson

6. Describe what you do?
Sing a lot, try to put feelings into well arranged words.

7. Who’s hair would you like to have for just one day?
Side Show Bob

8. Best musical experience to date?
Playing Koln Philarmonic to 1500 silent people. Beautiful venue and attentive crowd. It felt intense.

9. What artist inspires you?
I really love and am inspired by our Indepedent musician friends, forging a career and making art in a difficult climate. Al Lewis, Jess Morgan, Zervas and Pepper, Jake Morley, Evan Jack…

10. What does Fresh On The Net mean to you?
Its an inspiring platform for new and exciting music. So many great artists have had their first national exposure on Tom’s show.
