Indie-rock collaboration group Bad Books have unveiled a new song, “Forest Whitaker,” from their upcoming sophomore release Bad Books II. Stream the song here.
The band consists of indie-folk artist Kevin Devine and members of Manchester Orchestra. The new tune sounds very different from what many have come to expect from the two artists. Instead of Kevin Devine’s soft acoustic rock or Manchester Orchestra’s distortion based angst, the Bad Books’ new song features bouncy synths and a catchy pop melody.
Bad Books II comes out October 9th via Triple Crown Records.
