Trent Reznor Writes New Call Of Duty Theme Song

Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails, has announced that he has wrote the theme song for the new Call Of Duty sequel, Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Reznor told USA Today that the track is “aggressively sounding” guitar rock that incorporates drum and bass. USA Today describes Black Ops II story as “a new Cold War between the U.S. and China and an international villain plays them off each other.” An avid gamer himself, this is not the first time Reznor worked on video game soundtracks. Reznor was known for previously working on such titles as Doom 3 and Quake.

Reznor commented on the game’s music saying “There is a lot of reservations and angst and sense of loss and regret and anger bubbling under the surface. So it didn’t make sense to have a gung ho patriotic kind of theme song. It has to feel weighty.”Call of Duty: Black Ops II is set to drop on November 13th.
