Blur To Unveil Two New Songs Live On Twitter
In the band’s latest YouTube video post, Blur announced that on July 2nd they plan to perform two new songs on a rooftop somewhere in London and stream the performance live on their official Twitter page. The first song “Under the Westway” will debut at 6:15 PM BST and the second, “The Puritan,” will debut at 7:15 PM BST. A limited edition 7″ vinyl of the songs will be available on August 6th.
The two new songs were specifically written for their upcoming Hyde Park show on August 12th, which coincides with the closing ceremonies of the Summer Olympics. “This is something that happens incredibly rarely and who knows if it will happen again,” says Alex James in their revealing YouTube video.
