Todd “ToddStar” Jolicoeur of 100% Rock Magazine reviews Engelbert Humperdinck’s Las Vegas Show at The Orleans.
Musical icon, Engelbert Humperdinck, recently finished his 2019 tour with three consecutive shows at The Orleans in Las Vegas, Nevada. He continues to impress crowds with his natural showmanship and his unforgettable shows, receiving praise from fans and critics alike. He has been regarded as a performer who “defies the aging process” and “whose songs have never been more riveting.” (Splash Magazine).
Todd “ToddStar” Jolicoeur, of 100% Rock Magazine, caught Engelbert at The Orleans on Saturday, Nov. 30th, and called the performance “mind blowing”.
Jolicoeur went on to praise Engelbert’s ability to not only entertain through song, but to engage the audience with anecdotes, memories, and jokes.
“Parts of the show were very storyteller-like, as he introduced various tracks with anecdotes about the track…the show is about the music, but you cannot ignore the way Humperdinck uses his music, memories, and a lot of jokes (not just cheesy ones either) to genuinely entertain the audience.”
Engelbert’s Las Vegas performance also included a duet with his granddaughter, Olivia, who joined him on stage to sing “I’m Glad I Danced With You” a song dedicated to the night Engelbert and Patricia, Engelbert’s wife, first met at a dance hall and how their love has lasted throughout the years. Jolicoeur described the moment as “an amazing performance that will stand out in [his] mind for a while.”

As the night came to a close, Jolicoeur was in awe of the connection between Engelbert and his loyal fanbase, saying,
“I was amazed with the care and love for his fans Engelbert showed. He pointed, smiled, winked, and for the crowd that formed around the front of the venue, he shook every hand that was within his reach. This is a show NOT to be missed”
