Donots’ Letter to Seattle
Donots’ US adventures continue! The band wrote a post on their US tour blog about their time in Seattle today:
Dear Seattle,
congratulations! You have just won the competition for “best looking venue ever”. The Paramount has got to be the most amazing place to play on this planet. Old theatres just get me every time but you are so owning them all. Wow!
Had a great time rocking out with you Seattle people on our first day in your lovely city! Mariachi El Bronx sounded perfect once again and their violin player just killed it as the stand-in banjo guy for Flogging Molly last night (who obviously have also killed it once again). Spent the rest of the night out drinking and playing Miss PacMan in a nice bar with Brett, his friend Sean and the Bronx guys. Sweet!P.S.: People have been tossing fish at us at Pike Market in the morning which we take as a compliment.
