Sparkadia Review on Music That’s Nu2Me

Music That’s Nu2Me, a new music blog focused on promoting music outside of the mainstream, wrote a great review of Sparkadia’s The Great Impression. Check out what they had to say about the album:

“It’s kind of funny how sometimes I will come across a song and plan on posting something on it only to get an email either from that band or their record company asking me to check this band out. OK, it’s only happened once before, but when it does I usually take it as a sign that maybe I should have been a little quicker with my review. Originally I was going to post “China” from Sparkadia when I first came across it. The beat during the chorus reminded me slightly of The Who’s “Baba O’Riley (Teenage Wasteland)”, but with a poppier, uplifting vibe to it. Well now it looks like this Australian Pop Rock band has just recently released a new video for their latest single “Mary” off of their debut U.S. album The Great Impression and it follows that same chorus-driven, anthemic sound that initially attracted me to them in the first place. Keep an ear out for these guys as I think there’s a good chance we will be hearing more from them in the near future. Check out the tracks and video below and head on over to OK! Good’s website for a free sampler album that includes “Mary” among other new tunes to expand your music library.”
