London-based, Aussie native Sparkadia (aka Alex Burnett), is bringing the best of the 80’s back with his debut album, The Great Impression, released via OK! Good Records. Filled with anthemic synth melodies, paired with Burnett’s soft soaring vocals, the release leaves just that – a big impression.
And Burnett goes big on the album – collaborating with songwriter/producer Mark Tieku (Florence and the Machine) for the project, and playing almost all the instruments, which includes everything from gongs, to metal scaffolding, to scrap metal. The end result is quite a beautiful collection of songs.”
