Death Cab for Cutie Frontman to Release Solo Album
Death Cab for Cutie’s Benjamin Gibbard announced his upcoming solo album, Former Lives, will come out on October 16. The indie-rock veteran, and former husband of TV’s New Girl star Zooey Deschanel, says the album will feature 12 assorted songs he has written over the course of his career. The songs will vary in lyrical subject and style, but Gibbard believes the album represents a cohesive unit.
Death Cab for Cutie fans know Gibbard often writes songs with personal and intimate lyrics.
