The New York Times Features Engelbert Humperdinck in Their Holiday Album Review

Engelbert Humperdinck’s “Warmest Christmas Wishes” is Included in The New York Times’ Review of New Holiday Albums

After its release just two months ago, Warmest Christmas Wishes continues to catch the attention of media outlets and blogs alike. This time The New York Times has included Engelbert Humperdinck in their personal selection of albums for the 2018 Holiday Season. The article entitled; “Holiday Music for the Joyful, the Lonely, and the Skeptical,” pits Humperdinck alongside industry favorites such as John Legend and Eric Clapton and offers a brief review and description of each album.

He still has a meaty voice, his phrasing polished to a gleam by thousands of nights on Vegas stages. There are a couple of originals here, but skip right to the chestnuts — “I’ll Be Home for Christmas,” “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve?” — platonic-ideal versions delivered without an ounce of camp.

Reaching #1 on Amazon UK’s Movers and Shakers chart, it comes with little surprise that Engelbert Humperdinck has once again proven himself to be a formidable presence in the world of both music and entertainment.
