The Aquarian Features Weapons of Anew
Weapons of Anew has just wrapped up ‘The Last Hero Tour‘ along side Alter Bridge and Nonpoint. This tour marked the group’s first tour as a band. I caught up with my brothers and former bandmates, Ray West and Chris Manfre, from Weapons Of Anew, on their Philadelphia stop of the Alter Bridge and Nonpoint tour, and I’d be lying if I wasn’t a little jealous that these guys got to play in front of that huge crowd. The Electric Factory was packed to the gills and Ray and crew were on point as they jammed through five songs, including the band’s debut single “Killshot” off of the band’s upcoming debut CD by way of OK!Good Records. The music orchestrated by guitarist Freddy Ordine was nice and heavy, while it was rounded out by the amazing vocals of Ray Ray West. I got to hang with Ray and Chris on the band’s RV and they told me that they’re just having a lot of fun. We can expect some local shows this spring as the CD release nears.
