Engelbert Humperdinck Featured in the Beverly Hills Courier

Engelbert Humperdinck has been featured in the Beverly Hills Courier with anticipation for his upcoming performance at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills on Friday, February 20th.

Engelbert will perform many of the hits that first launched his career, as well as songs off of his 80th and latest album Engelbert Calling. The album features duets with music legends such as Elton John, Willie Nelson, Johnny Mathis, Kenny Rogers, and many more. The eclectic mix of song styles and partners is the result “of sitting down and finding appropriate songs they wrote or were associated with,” Humperdinck says. So there’s “A Certain Smile” with Johnny Mathis, which he released in 1958. He joins Neil Sedaka for the singer/songwriter’s “The Hungry Years,” Charles Aznavour on his song “She,” and Kenny Rogers for his hit, “She Believes In Me.”

Engelbert will be joined by a very special guest for this performance. His son, Bradley Dorsey, and his band will open the show performing songs from their upcoming EP Changed. The pair perform Cat Steven’s “Father and Son” on Engelbert Calling and fans can only hope that the will recreate it at the concert.

You can purchase tickets here for Engelbert Humperdinck’s North American Tour.  His duets album, Engelbert Calling, can be purchased on all tour dates and at the OK!Good Records web-store, iTunes, Amazon, and on Google Play.  You can also stream Engelbert Calling on Spotify and Bandcamp.
