    How to spend a romantic Valentine’s Night…..

We would go o the beach late afternoon and watch the sun set….and walk hand in hand under the star filled sky and watch the almost full moon rise from below the ocean.. We would smile as we remembered all the years we have celebrated Valentine’s Day…sometimes without a word being said, in complete silence ….recalling the precious unspeakable memories that are collectively a part of who we each are, and together as one. Love is all….and Forever and Ever…especially when he then tells me we are on the way to Engelbert’s Feb 14 show! Got to catch that plane!

A good Valentine Day is to spend it with my husband of 32 years. A wonderful, successful, hard working man and he understands me. He is my best friend.

I hope I leave it correctly here…but to me a wonderful Valentine would be a “Fireplace,, bottle of wine, favorite music playing, snow falling outside…tucked tight in cozy warm blankets for a Winter Wonderland of Love. Happy Valentine’s Day!”

A warm loving hug would be shared we would then gaze into each others eyes and say “hello my friend” as though no time had past since our last night of blissful togetherness…we would speak of our families , catch up on old friends and dine on cheese, crusty bread and fine wine. A gentle fire would be crackling as we again are content to just hold on to one another and just know in our hearts how very much we mean to each other always with the knowledge…”We’ll meet again”

Valentine Day – The most beautiful time of the year with flowing feelings of Love, Red Hearts, Red Flowers, and Red Wine – To be with the one you love relaxing and listening to special romantic songs at a Valentine Day concert is the ideal place to be!

Pleasant surprises throughout the day. A single rose on the night table when you wake up. Finding a diamond necklace or ring in the most unexpected place ….perhaps in the refrigerator…upon opening the door seeing a velvet box with a note…just for you! And a quiet dinner at home…a bottle of wine and a nice warm fire.

A beautiful Valentine card, a box of chocolates, dinner at a favorite restaurant, soft music on the car radio, stopping to look at the moon and stars, and a glass of wine at home. All of these make a perfect, romantic Valentine’s Day. Nothing elaborate or fancy, just a quiet time together after the day’s hustle and bustle, is perfect for me.

My day would begin with a hand written note in the morning followed by small gestures of love during the day (touch of the hand, simply hug, etc) followed by a memorable, candle light meal next to a roaring fire, a bottle of bubbly and beautiful mood music playing in the background. A perfect day and evening……

The perfect Valentine’s Day for me would be to spontaneously fly my wife out to St. Thomas in the Virgin Islands (our honeymoon spot), and arrange for a candlelit dinner on the beach while serenading her on my guitar and feeling those trade winds blowing in,

My favorite idea to spend Valentine’s Day or Evening ~ well now let me think ~ I would love to start the day bright and early by finding a note, telling me to dress comfortably, expect company – but not to plan on cooking. A little later the door bell rings and a beautiful arrangement of roses is presented to me, no card attached. The mailman has a few items for me, one happens to be a book of poems, and inside is a VIP ticket to see my favorite entertainer! But wait, I am in NY, he is appearing in Arizona? Soon after a stretch limo pulls up, the driver rings the bell, motions for me to come join the other passengers! Seated inside and wearing big smiles, are my four sons, and they tell me we are all going on a flight. I will leave the ending to this lovely dream, to your imagination ~ but I think nothing would please me more ~ and it would certainly be A Night To Remember! <3

We spent 56 Valentines Days together. I can still feel his touch, see his smile, and always a surprise thinking he had to show how much he loved me. It would be a perfect Valentines Day, if only he was still here.
Half of my Heart is in Heaven, but we will have that perfect day, when we meet again.

To have the one you love take you to the place you first went to on your first date would be nice. Just being with that special person in your life, enjoying time together and cherishing each moment not just this one day but each day God gives you to be with this one person you love. It’s not about the money you spend or the places you might go but just being blessed to have them in your life. Show your love “every day” not just the one day!

Valentine’s day is the day of my birthday.Let it with my large family, a large bouquet of roses and many small gifts from all. My secret wish but it is different! Welcome you Dear Engelbert in the Czech Republic and Prague. It would fulfill my dream (which will probably be filled in), and so I must do it in the evening while listening to all the wonderful songs….

Wow a romantic evening would be recreating the best date you ever had with your spouse while you were dating. It’s time to bring the romance back in your life. when you have kids and they are young there is no time for that. But all bets are off when they are older. Mine would be dinner by the water, then dancing. The only thing i would change is not have my slip fall down while dancing. lol I would top it off with a walk by the water. I don’t think we need gifts because if you are lucky you are with someone that gives you a gift everyday by sharing your life together.
    Happy Valentines Day.

Having your favorite person arrive at your house, nicely dressed, handing you a rose (named after Engelbert, Cara Mia) and a romantic CD by Engelbert…..taking you out for a lovely yummy dinner, and then on to an Engelbert concert…… and to top it off, the person surprises you with a Meet & Greet with Engelbert after a fantastic show! What a “heart” filled evening!!!

Valentines Day- A crackling fire, champagne w/strawberries, snuggling close with a furry blanket. Looking into each others eyes like it has been so long since we held each other. Soaking in the moment to last a lifetime. A dinner prepared with love for the one you love! What a more perfect evening!

I am asking my love of the past seven years to marry me on Valentine’s Day over a candlelit dinner and multiple bottles of champagne as it is tipped as THE most romantic day of the year, and you cannot ask for a better time to unite with someone you care more about than anything, anybody in the world!

My tip is very simple – take the entire day to do whatever you want to do together.
No special plans are necessary – just play everything by ear.
Remember the reason you are together is to be together – no more, no less.
Just enjoying each other’s company is the best present you can ever give and get.

I think you should cook a nice meal together, there’s something very sexy about it. Set the table with your best china, light some candles and have a nice bottle of either wine or champagne. Of course have some soft, romantic music playing in the background. After the meal, serve each other some chocolate covered strawberries.

    The Greatest Love Of All

    Material things all vanish away
But my son was born on Valentine’s Day.
My heart grew 10 times as it filled with joy
Watching my husband hold our sweet baby boy.
Now his first child is due any day
And I’ll stand by his side every step of the way
To watch his face with his baby so small
As he too discovers The Greatest Love Of All.

Valentine Tip – Cherish your family and watch the love multiply!!!
