Alex Hart was featured in an article for the Plymouth Herald, in which they discuss her latest album and her UK tour.
On This Day is Alex Hart’s latest album that is available in the US as well as the UK, it showcases her fabulously versatile vocals, superb songwriting skills and sophisticated West-country/country sound, augmented by flavours of jazz, pop and soul.
Alex is embarking on her On This Day Tour in the UK for the month of November. Her tour kicked off November 14th in Plymouth and will end November 3oth in Paignton. “I can’t wait to go on tour with my new band,” says the 23-year-old, who recently recruited Alik Peters-Deacon and Jake Galvin of Antimatador plus Josiah Manning, owner of Momentum Studios, to her line-up.
Many may not know that Alex Hart started out as a classical musician; playing the violin, and even fronting her own jazz quartet. Nowadays, Alex sticks to being a singer-songwriter.
Plymouth Herald calls Alex Hart’s “On This Day” a “must-have addition to any country/pop fan’s collection.”
