Engelbert Humperdinck Featured on Lancaster Online
Lancaster Online featured an article about Engelbert Humperdinck. The article gets fans excited about Humperdinck’s performance at the American Music Theatre in Lancaster, PA. This performance will be the first stop on Humperdinck’s North American tour.
The tour follows shortly after Humperdinck released his first ever duet album titled Engelbert Calling. This new album is filled with musical legends including Elton John, Gene Simmons, Olivia Newton-John, Willie Nelson, and Johnny Reid just to name a few. Aside from musical legends, Humperdinck also has two duets with his son Bradley Dorsey and daughter Louise Dorsey.
Engelbert Calling was as a long time in the making. “Actually, it’s taken two years. It’s been a labor of love,”says Humperdinck. He hopes to release another album, Engelbert Redialed, in which he can record with all the people on his wishlist of artists who he was unable to record with for Engelbert Calling.
He has played Lancaster before and is looking forward to doing so again. It’s just one of many stops and many projects he has in the works. He’s filming a biographical documentary titled “In Time,” which he hopes to have finished by the end of the year.
And for those future musician and artists out there, Humperdinck leaves you with some advice.
“First and foremost, work hard at your craft. Knock on many doors. If you’re rejected, you get stronger. And get yourself a good manager!”
