Veronica Fusaro Releases Sophomore Album “Looking For Connection ” on OK!Good Records, October 24th
A pulsing indie-pop record about closeness in a disconnected world – Out Now!
Swiss-Italian singer-songwriter, Veronica Fusaro releases her second album Looking for Connection on October 24, 2025, followed by a European headline tour through Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands in November and December. Known for her sharp lyricism and unmistakable voice, the record captures the strange reality of a world that scrolls together but often feels apart, transforming it into Fusaro’s very own brand of indie-pop infused with rock and soul influences.
The new album includes singles like “Gold Rush”, a glittering anthem about ambition and burnout; “Slot Machine”, a punchy reflection on digital temptation; and “Jealousy”, a hypnotic track about comparison culture. “No Rain No Tears” has already become a radio favorite, with international airplay and placements on the airplay charts in Switzerland (Top 50) and Germany (Top 200).
Praised for her magnetic stage presence, Fusaro has performed at Glastonbury and Montreux Jazz Festival, supported Mark Knopfler in Nîmes, and was named one of IMPALA’s “100 Artists to Watch” in 2025. With Looking for Connection, she delivers her most personal statement yet: a record that turns modern contradictions into songs of light, closeness, and energy.
“I know it takes the guts to be yourself/ But if you sway a little longer with me here /promise you’ll be stronger.”
These lines from Veronica Fusaro beg to be sung along to while dancing like nobody’s watching around your living room. It feels like the opening scene of a 2000s indie film: the protagonist lying on her bed, a landline and lava lamp by her side, waiting for that call, staring dreamily at the ceiling before finally gathering the courage to pick up the phone and confess her love.
That same hope, lightness, and warmth underpin the album’s mix of social commentary and self-reflection on Looking for Connection, out October 24, 2025 and celebrated at Zurich’s Plaza Klub on November 7. The record still carries a glow of summer while already promising comfort and a sense of home for autumn.
At its core, the album reflects on one of today’s greatest paradoxes: we scroll together, yet often feel apart. Fusaro tells personal stories of life in the digital age and the growing hunger for authenticity and connection. With Looking for Connection, she creates a space where “connection” is not just a buzzword, but something you can actually feel – through candid lyrics and melodies that move.
The single Gold Rush captures this tension perfectly: a glittering, pop-driven anthem with indie spirit, using the historic gold rush as a mirror for today’s frantic chase for success – both euphoric and cautionary.
In Slot Machine she asks, “Why do I feel so down” – echoing aEN Album PR Text question that defines an entire generation. Tracks like Little Too Much and Jealousy wrestle with overwhelm, self-doubt, and the emotional fallout of self-optimization. In Jealousy, the melody and beat coil around you like a snake, while the voice in Tomorrow’s Coming pleads: “How much more can I take?”
Musically, Looking for Connection blends indie-pop with rock and soul influences, wrapped in funky, groove-rich arrangements. It’s an alchemy of melancholy and joy. That same gift for turning contradictions into connection also defines her live shows: from intimate clubs to Glastonbury, Montreux Jazz Festival, and Gurtenfestival, or supporting Mark Knopfler in Nîmes, Fusaro wins audiences over with closeness, presence, and contagious passion – a true trip down the milky way.

Looking for Connection marks the next milestone in Fusaro’s career. Her debut All The Colors of the Sky entered the Swiss Top 5 in 2023 and earned her the Culture Prize of her hometown, Thun; in 2025 she was named one of IMPALA’s “100 Artists to Watch”. This fall she takes the album on a European headline tour across Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands, before opening her anniversary year at the London New Year’s Day Parade on January 1, 2026 – exactly ten years after her first steps into the music scene with the self- produced EP Lost in Thought (2016). A milestone that proves: for Veronica Fusaro, music has always been the purest form of connection.
Veronica will celebrate the release of Looking for Connection with a special album release concert at Plaza Klub in Zurich on November 7, 2025, followed by a headline tour across Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands.
