Irish singer-songwriter Janet Devlin will be performing at the Cambridge Folk Festival’s City Roots, a brand new week-long, winter music festival. Janet Devlin performed at The Den at Cambridge back in 2012 and will be taking the stage again in support of City Roots.

Created six years ago, as a space for young audiences to see up-and-coming acts in an intimate and relaxed environment, THE DEN has proved to be one of the Festival’s most popular stages, playing host to the likes of The Staves, Passenger and Jake Bugg. And, during February’s City Roots Festival The Den will make a welcome appearance for two nights, this time in the intimate basement setting of renowned city music venue, CB2. City Roots promises to be a musical tonic for the winter gloom: venues great and small across Cambridge, from the Corn Exchange to CB2’s basement will see a stream of talent, from the up-and-coming to internationally acclaimed stars.
