“Superman Fantasy” Lyrics:

“You got your superman fantasy,
flying in to save me,
tryin’ to be a hero with your help,
but I can do it all much easier myself.

You got your mystical energy,
swirling all around me,
tryin’ to keep me under your control,
oh, but there’s so much farther that you need to go.

I don’t need no x-ray vision to see right through your walls.
I don’t need to fly or levitate to free my soul.
It’s just a part of human nature,
pride comes before the fall,
and there ain’t no superpowers needed here at all.

You got your hidden identity,
keeping secrets from me,
tryin’ to operate and act in stealth,
but complicating things will only hurt yourself.

You got your burning intensity,
flaming light to blind me,
tryin’ to penetrate and overwhelm,
oh, but I like it bright in case you couldn’t tell.

I don’t need no x-ray vision to see right through your walls.
I don’t need to fly or levitate to free my soul.
It’s just a part of human nature,
pride comes before the fall,
and there ain’t no superpowers needed here at all.

So go and hang your cape by the door,
and come here and sit with me on the floor.

‘Cause you don’t need no x-ray vision to see right through my walls.
You don’t need to fly or levitate to free your soul.
It’s just a part of human nature,
pride comes before the fall,
and there ain’t no superpowers needed here at all.

No there ain’t no superpowers needed here at all.
There ain’t no superpowers needed here at all.”
