Music City Post Reviews A Genuine Freakshow

Music blog, Music City Post reviewed the latest single “Low” from A Genuine Freakshow. You can read the full review below.

When beautiful music strikes the right chord, it can be an incredible feeling. Nobody tells you to feel the way you do, there’s no mechanics to it – just something far more organic, a feeling so natural it reaches out and plucks at the heart.

The new single from Reading-based indie outfit A Genuine Freakshow functions on this level – a glacial, twinkling swathe of five beautiful minutes. Perfect for this time of year, it glides on a sheen of ice – but gilded with the kind of warmth necessary to touch to emotions in the way it does.

Previously featuring bassist Matthew Taylor (now of Dry The River), the group played the BBC Introducing stage at Reading and Leeds last year.
