ATP Festival Moves From New Jersey To Manhattan

All Tomorrow’s Parties I’ll Be Your Mirror Festival was originally planned to take place in Asbury Park this September 21st-23rd. Due to “unavoidable logistical concerns (along with a lack of available fan accomodations in Asbury Park”) the festival is being relocated to Manhattan’s Pier 36. Anyone who could not attend at the new venue were being offered refunds. This relocation did not go without a drop in support of acts. Acts who dropped out included Louis C.K., Sharon Van Etten, Factory Floor, and Reigning Sound. Although, there were new acts announced which included: Philip Glass and Tyondai Braxton, Janeane Garofalo, Lightning Bolt, Lee Ranaldo, Chavez, Kurt Braunohler, Afterhours, Joseph Arthur, the Album Leaf, the Psychic Paramount, Braids, Tall Firs, Blanck Mass, Endless Boogie, Demdike Stare, and DJ Jonathan Toubin.

These acts join the previously announced line up of: Godspeed You! Black Emperor, the Roots, the Antlers, Dirty Three, Jose Gonzalez, the Make-Up, Hot Snakes, Thee Oh Sees, Mark Lanegan, Scrawl, and Emeralds. More information about the festival and statement from the festival’s director, Barry Hogan can be found here.
