“I wrote this song in New York when I was promoting the American release of “Running With Scissors”. It was a truly inspiring time to write a Christmas song as earlier I had ventured out for a walk within central park and it was covered in snow reminding me of all the classic Christmas films that had been made there. I decided in-between a break of interviews in my hotel room I’d attempt to write a song about it. As I sat on the 36th floor with my guitar player and the view of times square and people with their wooly hats and oversized coats that this would be the perfect moment to do so. Within these moments “December Daze” was born.” – Janet Devlin
