Hen Ree

Hen Ree is the solo project of Rickard Olsén, lead singer of the Swedish alternative rock band The Windupdeads. Fans of Olsén’s previous work should expect the same quality of music in a completely different style, as he takes on the realm of dark electronic pop with his new release, And When Everybody Is Watching. Hen Ree says of his new project, “This has been an interesting journey for me. Writing this album has forced me to learn a lot of new recording techniques as I have entered the world of electronic music.” Produced by long time friend and Windupdeads band mate Marcus von Boisman, And When Everyone is Watching is a compelling electronic album that connects the listener emotionally to Hen Ree’s personal life.
