Alex Hart

Said by Alex Hart, herself:

Growing up in the English countryside in East Devon and performing what I call West Country Country, I’ve been influenced by artists as diverse as KT Tunstall and Doris Day and have record deals in the UK with Right Track Records via Universal and in the US I’m signed to OK! Good Records.

I love performing live, either solo or with my band and have been lucky enough to have played at some legendary venues including the Troubadour and Ronnie Scotts.

In contrast to my own style of music, in the summer of 2013 I released a track with the talented DJ team ‘Electronic Youth’. Our cover of Angie Stone’s ‘I Wish I Didn’t Miss You’ went to no. 2 in the Music Week Club Charts and was played and supported by Pete Tong on Radio 1. It’s still available to listen to and buy online.

You can purchase Alex Hart’s debut album On This Day at the OK!Good Records webstore as well as on iTunes, or stream it on Spotify.
