Lyrics: “Stay With Me” by Sam Smith

Guess it’s true, I’m not good at a one-night stand
But I still need love ’cause I’m just a man
These nights never seem to go to plan
I don’t want you to leave, will you hold my hand?

Oh, won’t you stay with me?
‘Cause you’re all I need
This ain’t love it’s clear to see
But darling, stay with me

Why am I so emotional?
No it’s not a good look, gain some self control
And deep down I know this never works
But you can lay with me so it doesn’t hurt

Oh, won’t you stay with me?
‘Cause you’re all I need
This ain’t love it’s clear to see
But darling, stay with me

Oh, won’t you stay with me?
‘Cause you’re all I need
This ain’t love it’s clear to see
But darling, stay with me

The remix has continued to receive an overwhelming amount of support since it’s August 13th release, with critics praising the bright summer vibes of Glastrophobie’s production that blend perfectly with Hafdis’ melodic vocals. Check out some of the reviews below and Click Here to buy on iTunes.

Glastrophobie transforms “Lucky” into a chilled out Summer anthem suitable for pool parties, long car rides, or just chillin’ in the backyard with a glass of sangria. So kick back, relax, and let the swooning melodies take you to your private escape.” – The Music Ninja

“Hafdis Huld’s bubbly, pop vocals are the perfect complement to Glastrophobie’s exuberantly sunny production. Another glorious remix in Glastrophobie’s quickly growing collection.”Good Music All Day

“..In his remixing, Glastrophobie elevates Huld’s beautifully sung melody with a House-y backbeat, crisp saxophone and phasing synth, turning the melancholic meditation into a bittersweet dance track.” – Surviving the Golden Age

Check out this new Glastrophobie remix! We’re not sure if he snorted some fairy-dust, or what the deal is, but this track is magical.” – Salacious Sound

Holding steady with the Icelandic folk sound, Glastrophobie’s remix adds a house element that doesn’t detract from the original’s sonic intention. With an almost Mumford feel, the summery vibes are strong with this one.” – Stoney Roads

Another killer mix from Glastrophobie and another step into the world of saxcellence.” - Your Music Radar

During her recent tour across the far corners of Iceland, Hafdis Huld filmed a special series of acoustic videos with guitarist and partner Alisdair Wright. The two filmed one-take performance videos at every farm, guest house, and out of the way place they visited while on the road. Lyrics: “Creep” by Radiohead

When you were here before
Couldn’t look you in the eye
You’re just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You’re so fucking special

But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here

I don’t care if it hurts
I want to have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice when I’m not around
You’re so fucking special
I wish I was special

But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here

She’s running out the door, She’s running out
She runs runs runs runs..

Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want
You’re so fucking special
I wish I was special

But I’m a creep, I’m a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don’t belong here , I don’t belong here

Surviving the Golden Age Premieres Hafdis Huld “Lucky (Glastrophobie Remix)”

Hafdis Huld - Lucky (Remix)Our friends at Surviving the Golden Age have just premiered German producer Glastrophobie‘s remix of Hafdis Huld’s latest single, “Lucky.”

Here’s what they had to say about the track:

This summery, cinematic remix of Icelandic folk-pop singer/songwriter Hafdis Huld’s latest single “Lucky” is a welcome reminder of the talents of twenty-two year old German producer Glastrophobie. Three months ago, he stunned with his masterful remix of Anna Graceman’s “Words,” so we’re glad to hear him take on such a simple and lovely song.

The original “Lucky” is a paced, mellow track with folksy elements – in his remixing, Glastrophobie elevates Huld’s beautifully sung melody with a House-y backbeat, crisp saxophone and phasing synth, turning the melancholic meditation into a bittersweet dance track. With his signature rhythm patterning and knack for evolving instrumentation across a single song, Glastrophobie has created a rich aural experience that should satisfy listeners for another month or two before his next project.

Lyrics:

He ran up the path with blood on his hands
And a fear I’d never seen
He stops for a breath and a backwards glance
What could this have been

Wolves wolves don’t howl at my door
I don’t want you here anymore
Wolves wolves don’t howl at my door
Aaaaaooohhh!

I saw their master and he did not care
Sent me on my way
They’re running wild out here
Still we choose to stay

Wolves wolves don’t howl at my door
I don’t want you here anymore
Wolves wolves don’t howl at my door
Aaaaaooohhh!

We don’t go back to that neck of the woods
Try to stay off that track
Bow my head and pull up the hood
Whenever I must go back

Wolves wolves don’t howl at my door
I don’t want you here anymore
Wolves wolves don’t howl at my door
Aaaaaooohhh!

“Queen Bee” lyrics:

our flag is his coat
as he marches
down the middle of the road
we slowly walk behind him
as we try to understand this game
towards the sun
this fight has only just begun
there ain’t many things
he wouldn’t do for this place

somewhere in between the trees
where the grass is green
lives a man with his queen
somewhere in between the trees
in a world that no one sees
he’s growing his own army of bees

moving too fast
for the magic to last
on his watch the world
moves a different pace
we all have space
his anchor went down
kept his boots on the ground
unaffected by the race taking place
all around

somewhere in between the trees
where the grass is green
lives a man with his queen
somewhere in between the trees
in a world that no one sees
he’s growing his own army of bees

he came from far away
outside everyday
and his rooster thinks it’s morning all the time
tobacco in the air
whenever he is near
and I’m not sure if the dog is his or mine

somewhere in between the trees
where the grass is green
lives a man with his queen
somewhere in between the trees
in a world that no one sees
he’s growing his own army of bees

“Queen Bee” Lyrics:

Our flag is his coat
I see matches down the middle of the road
We slowly walk behind the mask
We try to understand this game
Towards the sun
This fight has only just begun
There ain’t many things he wouldn’t do
For this place

Somewhere in between the trees
Where the grass is green
Lives a man with his queen
Somewhere in between the trees

Moving too fast
For the magic to last
On his watch the world
